Three years have Kate and the Toppers tycoon Philip Green collaborated on these fabulous collections ranging from casual boho pieces to sexy sixties style and now "Moss mania" is a thing of the past. Supposedly the collections weren't selling as well as they used to, my empty purse states otherwise.
However it is fair enough, Moss' collections at Topshop really stood the test of time in a world where celebrity endorsements can last one or two collections before being axed. Kate is busy, Topshop is revolutionary and fast moving and I guess that customers who don't share my love for Kate may be getting bored.
Though all is not lost for Kate and Topshop. After her final seasonal collection hitting stores late October, Kate will now be working with design times creating 'drop in' limited edition collections. The first of these will be called 'Iconic Kate' a sort of archive of her favourite pieces from her previous 14 seasonal collections containing the super-sexy "Panther" dress. So though us fans may not see a new collection with every season, we will just get the best of Moss and that is just as good!
