Topshop A/W 2011

These are my favourite looks of the new collections! This shaggy pink fur coat is so quirky and the shoes are so, so gorgeous! The coat isn't totally my style, however, so I shall just be investing in this sheer blouse with leather disc embellishment- so, so lovely!

Now it is no secret that I ♥ Topshop, and i'm getting all buzzing for A/W 2011. Well here's a little peak at the Topshop A/W 2011/2012 lookbook to give you an incentive to save some of your summer cash!

There are some truly GORGEOUS pieces in each of these collections incorporating some of the hottest trends around for next season. All the furs and brocades of  the 'Bavaria' collection are perfect for getting that eclectic, rich collage look that was favoured at a number of shows and the 'Glam Rock' collection has my name written all over it! Start making a wishlist now ladies- race you to Oxford Street?

This collection just exudes a luxurious quirkiness. The mix of embellishment, shaggy furs, pretty brocades and chiffon midis has a richness that is perfect for getting that texture overload that is key next season (as seen at MeadhamKirchoff, Isabel Marant, Prada etc). My top pick for this collection? It has to be that little red dress with the gold shoulder detailing- i'd wear it with embellished slipper flats for a regal trans-seasonal look and with ribbed opaques and chunky boots come winter. And the furry hat- I neeeeed the hat!

Androgyny is probably one of the biggest trends for next season, and Topshop's fabulously titled "Pyschobilly" collection nails this look with a kooky vibe. Having seen lots of accessories from the Topshop A/W range on the EJ Style blog (check it out here- it's a good one!), I wanted to know where all the leopard print shoes and bags would fit in and they seem to be a part of this collection- and they are amaaaazing with this edgy look. Obviously I want ALL the accessories but particularly these little chelsea boots worn with the electric blue cardi- so adorable.

My favourite of the collections, however, has to be the Glam Rock one. It's all so sexy!  Thigh high splits, splashes of dominatrix-esque leather (very Louis Vuitton), floppy hats that are so Gucci, Bowie-style glittery ankle boots and lots of feathers and sparkle. It's a fabulous collection for the party season and is certainly the one for me! I will be first in line for some of the sheer blouses (see top of page- I neeeed it!) and gorgeous jackets- the silver skinnies are also calling my name if I can resist overindulging this summer! The metallic heeled brogues are also to die for.
A Topshop range would not be complete without something vintage inspired and this collection is that to a t. A 1970s vibe is very apparent with knee-high boots (very ChloĆ©) and lots of lovely brights. If you aren't fancying the mood-lifting splashes of orange and mustard, there are still a lot of Autumnal shades like burgundy, dusty pink and tan to keep you happy! The fur coats are absolutely delectable and I have my eye on this peachy pink midi dress- it is the perfect update for last winter's furry chubby jacket.

These are another couple of gorgeous looks from the Topshop lookbook! I shall have to keep hitting the gym however- over the knee socks are never forgiving! The little creamy playsuit looks gorgeous with the chunky shearling jacket and heavy boots and i'm more than a little bit in love with this kitsch dalmation jumper (very on trend next season- all things animals!) with it's pretty peter-pan collar (an immediate update, if you're looking for one!). The tweed shorts are also right up high on my wish list given that i'm having a little Chanel obsessed phase just now- only without sufficient cash!
